In most of the cases, builders prefer to use in their work steel flexible reinforcement, although, often, hard reinforcement is also used, for example, I -beams, channel and corners. Taking into account the wide variety of works in construction, which requires the use of a metal rolling of this type, manufacturers supply several options for products that are suitable for certain tasks and needs of consumers.
Depending on the physicochemical characteristics of metal products, they can be divided into several types in the strength class: thermomechanically hardened, hot rolled and thermally hardened.
Depending on the purpose of the products, they are divided into:
1. Distribution. Performs the functions of holding the rods in a strictly defined position and directs the load between them.
2. Working reinforcement – the load from external influences and its own weight falls on it.
3. Installation reinforcement. It is used during the assembly of the reinforcing frame and fixes the clamps in a certain position during the implementation of the concreting process.
4. The clamps play the role of the binding elements of the frame, which will exclude the formation of cracks in concrete around the supports.
5. Enough part of the double reinforcement is used – its use implies the use of rods in both compressed and stretched parts of the structure.
Metal rolling products can be divided into a number of species depending on the option of their installation:
1. Reinforcing nets – crossed mutually rods, which are combined at the intersection with the help of a ligament or welding. Most applied during reinforcement of concrete plates.
2. Piece. From individual rods of this variant of reinforcement using welding, a frame is performed. There are two varieties – flexible (round) and hard (rolling steel). For the most part, small volumes are used in construction work.
3. Frames. Used for reinforcing columns or beams. Products of this option are assembled from a lattice and longitudinal reinforcement. In addition, there are spatial frames that are made of flat gratings.
