As a rule, after leaving the steam room to the dressing room, people want to wipe off with a towel, dry, relax and get such a welcome comfort. But having a poorly insulated door, you can forget about such comfort, because a stream of cold winter draft will blow along the person’s feet, while the rest of the human body has not yet cooled. All this can end in colds, and no one loves to lie with temperature and drink pills. That is why, in order to combat the penetrating cold air and the prevention of blowing, you should correctly and competently approach the door insulation in the bathhouse.

Who would have thought that to insulate the door to the bathhouse, which would not let the cold inside the room and would not let you accumulate an uhony between the doorbell and the door block, you can only in some couple of hours!
A frame of 20 mm bars is nailed on the door. The outer side of the nailed frame should move away from the edge of the door at a distance of the output of approximately 15 mm. The insulation folded in half should be attached to all edges of the nailed frame using aluminum nails, so that the edges of the insulation go beyond the edge of the bar for 15 mm. In an empty place inside the frame, you can also put material for insulation. Further, plywood lies on the frame, suitable in width and height to the frame, and is pinned by small nails.
How it works.
At a time, when the door is closed, the insulation is between the door block and the door leaf, and bends outward, as a result of which the air from the street cannot penetrate inside. At the same time, the insulation is not squeezed, since an air gap is formed between it and the door leaf. This layer is able to save the door dry and it will not let you accumulate frost. All work takes from 1.5 to 2 hours-this is the time that it is worth spending in order to maintain heat inside the room and so that people can fully enjoy bath procedures, protect themselves from unwanted drafts and will fully enjoy the result of its work.
