Traditionally, the roof is an inclined plane called a slope. Rain water and snow flow out on the slope, which allows you to protect the roof of the house from leakage. In the gable roof there are two inclined planes (slopes). The place of the slope connection is called the skate of the roof, where the Venti-Line skate/ridge is often located.
We describe the design of the gable roof and the sequence of actions for its installation. At the initial stage, it is necessary to put and strengthen the beams of the overlap. If the attic is not used, then the size of such a beam will be 50 – 150 mm. Frounding beams (translations) are installed exactly on the walls of the walls of the house. The release of ceiling beams from the lower edges should be 400 mm.
This is necessary in order to protect the walls from moisture, which flows from the roof. A board is attached to these beams, the size of which is 50 mm x 150 mm using nails. It is the basis for the walls of the attic floor. Next, you need to install racks and upper strapping.
The next stage is the assembly and installation of rafters. In the beginning of brick, it is necessary to lay out the pediments. Then rafters are installed on the beam of the upper strapping at an angle. In order to withstand this angle of rafters, pre -washed. At the top of the rafters are also cut off at the top point, which is the place of their connection.
At the top of the rafters are attached to each other with a trim of the board, which is attached just below the junction of the rafters at the very top using nails. In this case, this wrap of boards connects the rafters, crossing them across. Then a collapse of the roof and installation of roofing material is carried out. So the roof is installed.
