Nowadays, drywall is actively used to finish the interior. The walls are decorated with the ego, this material also helps with the installation of ceilings. Drywall itself is relatively strong, but vulnerable to moisture, affordable and not expensive. Most often it is used to install interior partitions in industrial, office and attic rooms. The installation process of the partition is quite simple, let’s look at it in more detail. When compiling a one -room apartment for two, partitions are necessarily used.
First of all, you need to decide what exactly is used as a determining profile. Most often use the profile of the wall standing nearby, in other words – a parietal profile. The width of the future wall directly depends on its width – partitions. For sound isolation, usual mineral wool is used, but if the budget is completely tight, use polystyrene. So, let’s get down!
The first and most important stage is marking. The “evenness” of the partition being built directly depends on the marking, and this in turn is a very important factor in construction. First of all, markings must be carried out on the floor, then transferred to the walls and only then to the ceiling. In order to carry out even marking, use a thick thread or rope. First of all, we mark two points on the floor – one at the parallel wall, and the other at the edge of the future partition, and connect them with a rope. Next, we transfer our technical creativity to perpendicular walls using a corner and a rope. The marking is transferred to the ceiling and the upper parts of the walls using the level, profile and ropes. Having finished with markings, make sure again that everything is marked evenly. The second stage is the installation of the profile. Installation occurs along our marking lines, first the so-called “frame” profile (half a toll) is installed, then the supporting partitions of the profile with a step of 40-50 centimeters are installed. The resulting design should look like a wall frame.
The third and final stage is installed by drywall sheets on a finished frame. After measurements, as a rule, the sheets are cut to the desired size and with the help of self -tapping screws are attached to the metal frame, without overlap. After the installation of one side is performed, soundproofing material and the necessary communications are laid inside. Only after that you need to proceed to the installation of the other side.
